Introduction

Who We Are & Who We Serve

We are a group mental health practice owned and operated by Noah Sideman, PsyD. Noah is a neuropsychologist, neuroscience researcher, licensed psychologist, school psychologist, and educator that has trained and worked in the Philadelphia area for 16 years. He has trained in hospital, private practice, and school settings. He also conducts neuroscience research and has published and presented his findings in several peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He enjoys the study of neuroscience and loves to share his knowledge and understanding of the human brain in his direct work with clients. This in turn allows clients to have a greater understanding of their strengths and limitations and leads to greater client empowerment and improved lasting treatment results.

We are currently accepting evaluation and therapy clients for telehealth and in-person sessions.

Meet the Founder

Noah E. Sideman, PsyD, MEd, NCSP, CBIS

I am a husband, father, avid gravel cyclist, and lover of nature that has a passion to help others through the lens of neuroscience and psychology. I am a trained neuropsychologist, licensed psychologist, and national certified school psychologist that has years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan. What is unique to me as a clinician is that I teach and conduct neuroscience research which allows me to provide current scientifically informed treatment for clients and conduct research that is easily translatable.

Early in my career I worked in community mental health and as a school psychologist in Bucks County, PA. Once I began my doctoral studies, I developed a deep interest in neuroscience and neuropsychology which has fueled my career path ever since. After finishing my post-doctoral training in neuropsychology and briefly working in a Philadelphia group practice, I opened my own mental health practice in East Passyunk Avenue in Philadelphia in the summer of 2020. Currently, the practice is located in the Old City area of Philadelphia and supports the neuropsychological and mental health needs of individuals across the lifespan. I am also an adjunct professor in the School of Professional and Applied Psychology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

My specialty is providing neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults with neurodevelopmental concerns (learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, ect.), brain injuries, concussions, and other neurological conditions either in the form of an initial diagnostic evaluation or as a part of the ongoing treatment for a condition. I also specialize in providing therapy for these conditions which is research based and infused with a neuroscientific understanding of the issues at hand. Additionally, I provide consultative services to schools and businesses and forensic evaluations.

Meet Kelly McSpedon

Pre-Licensed Professional, MS, MA, CAADC

I have experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, dual diagnosis, personality disorders, thought disorders, mood disorders, anxiety and depression. I have a particular interest in working with individuals who find themselves in one of the many transitional periods of life. With a background in recreation therapy, I utilize a psychodynamic approach rooted in attachment theory, and primarily use schema therapy and behavioral interventions.

My belief is that therapy offers the space to process emotions and experiences, develop a relationship with yourself, and gain insight. It is my goal to create a space for you to explore these areas, and to develop a therapeutic alliance that instills hope and encourages confidence. Whether you are looking to develop deeper relationships, manage emotions, or address anxiety and depression, the therapeutic relationship can serve as an arena to do so. Please reach out to our office begin our work together in exploring your strengths to promote a more fulfilling life.
